Data from secondary ticket marketplaces shows that average quarterfinal ticket prices have fallen by 31.5% in just 24 hours. Prices have dropped by nearly 50% over the past three days.

The biggest decline came for the Spain vs. Belgium quarterfinal at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The lowest resale ticket price fell from about $2,950 to roughly $1,200.

Meanwhile, the France vs. Morocco quarterfinal in Boston currently offers the lowest entry price among the final eight matches, starting at around $1,117.

Why Are Ticket Prices Dropping?

Market analysts believe several factors have reduced demand.

The biggest reason is the elimination of the United States, one of the three host nations. Without the home team, fewer local fans are looking to attend the remaining matches.

Portugal’s early exit has also affected interest. Many supporters hoped to watch what could be Cristiano Ronaldo’s final FIFA World Cup.

At the same time, the number of resale tickets has increased significantly. Nearly 50,000 tickets are now available on secondary markets, compared with around 28,000 earlier in the tournament.

The larger ticket supply has pushed resale prices lower.

World Cup Final Tickets Remain Expensive

Despite the recent price drop, FIFA World Cup 2026 remains one of the most expensive tournaments in football history.

The lowest resale price for the final at MetLife Stadium still stands at around $8,774, making it one of the highest-priced sporting events in the world.
